There’s practically never been a better time to upgrade to 1440p, as this $170 165Hz Gigabyte gaming monitor proves-

The golden resolution for the majority of PC gamers is 1440p—4K is often too dear, too demanding, but 1440p is just right. Many affordable graphics cards can push 1440p without too much trouble and 1440p gaming monitors do not cost all that much these days.

Take this one we’ve spotted over at Amazon: The 27-inch Gigabyte GS27Q is currently on sale for $170. That’s $60 off the regular asking price, and the cheapest  in its history as far as I can see.

For that sum you score a 165Hz refresh rate with a 1ms MPRT response time. A solid foundation for any gaming rig screen. That’s paired with AMD’s FreeSync Premium Pro, which will keep most GPUs in sync with the panel’s refresh rate.

This screen is using one of Gigabyte’s Super Speed IPS panels, wh…

Today’s puzzle was my favourite sort of weekend Wordle—it put up enough of a fight to be interesting, but not so much that I started to fear for my win streak after the first few rows. Zenless Zone Zero’s producer has spent an ungodly amount of time playing Street Fighter 6, which makes the whisperings of a collaboration even more understandable-

Taking a peek at screenshots of New Eridu—Zenless Zone Zero’s main hub—I couldn’t help but get some mild Street Fighter 6 Metro City vibes. Turns out they aren’t totally misplaced, as producer Zhenyu Li is a huge fan of the fighting game and has put a lotta hours into playing it. Considering the two games seem set to collaborate with each other, it makes even more sense that Street Fighter 6 has served as an inspiration for Li during Zenless Zone Zero’s development.

I was able to chat with Li during a roundtable interview recently, where he shared some insight into how Street Fighter’s combat helped shape miHoYo’s upcoming action RPG. Speaking through a translator, Li called himself a “loyal player” of Street Fighter 6, admitting he’d racked up thousands of hours acros…

Excerpts:

Where do you see the markets heading towards in the short-term?

Over the next year, things will be better. Right now, the only worry is that the markets are overheated due to unprecedented flows. I hope they don’t stay that way.
