Darkest Dungeon 2 is getting a free new game mode later this year that will feature ‘some of the permanence and roster management’ of the original game-
Darkest Dungeon 2 is getting an all-new campaign game mode called Kingdoms that’s set to roll out as a free content update later this year. Revealed during today’s Triple-I Initiative showcase, the new mode challenges players to find and defeat a grave threat to the Kingdom, a realm made up of a network of safe haven inns.
Players in Kingdoms will journey across corrupted lands, fighting back against incursions of evil (careful not to step in any) and collecting resources that can be used to upgrade heroes and bolster the inns’ defenses through “extensive upgrade trees.”
Kingdoms, which can be played separately from Darkest Dungeons 2’s original Confessions mode, will include unique questlines and three new monster factions: the Coven, the Beastmen, and the Cr…
Voice actor who played Ada Wong in the Resident Evil 4 remake wipes her Instagram after harassment-
Resident Evil’s recurring corporate spy Ada Wong has been portrayed by multiple voice actors over the years, and in the recent RE4 remake was played by Lily Gao, who previously had a cameo as Ada in the live-action movie Welcome to Raccoon City. Her performance in RE4 hasn’t been well-received by fans, who filled her Instagram comments with insults. Gao disabled comments on her account, and then either hid or deleted all of her posts except one.
You can see screenshots of some of those over-the-top comments on Twitter, tantrums in text form like, “You ruined the remake, i feel like i just wasted my money” and “Your voice acting was horrible in the re4remake… it sounded super stiff and there was nothing seductive about it? It didnt fit at all omfg i hope they dont hire you a…
Watching this explosive 5-minute video of Crysis Remastered is a great reminder of how much PC gaming needs Crysis 4-
Dodging gunfire, my invisibility cloak flickering, I grab the enemy soldier by the neck and, utilizing my Nanosuit’s incredible strength, I THROW HIM THROUGH THE ROOF OF A BUILDING, sending wooden beams and metal panels flying.
That was cool AF, but I don’t have time to admire my handy work (get it!), as the immense racket caused by the collapsing structure has alerted the soldier’s friends, one of which fires off a flare to call in reinforcements. He dies quickly, shot through the head with my SCAR rifle, though, so does the gunner on a patrol boat that approaches from across the bay.
Turning to the military jeep that’s just arrived loaded with more soldiers, I activate my Nanosuit’s armor mode and storm the vehicle head-on, the suit absorbing plenty of damage. Just as the …
There’s practically never been a better time to upgrade to 1440p, as this $170 165Hz Gigabyte gaming monitor proves-
The golden resolution for the majority of PC gamers is 1440p—4K is often too dear, too demanding, but 1440p is just right. Many affordable graphics cards can push 1440p without too much trouble and 1440p gaming monitors do not cost all that much these days.
Take this one we’ve spotted over at Amazon: The 27-inch Gigabyte GS27Q is currently on sale for $170. That’s $60 off the regular asking price, and the cheapest in its history as far as I can see.
For that sum you score a 165Hz refresh rate with a 1ms MPRT response time. A solid foundation for any gaming rig screen. That’s paired with AMD’s FreeSync Premium Pro, which will keep most GPUs in sync with the panel’s refresh rate.
This screen is using one of Gigabyte’s Super Speed IPS panels, wh…

Today’s puzzle was my favourite sort of weekend Wordle—it put up enough of a fight to be interesting, but not so much that I started to fear for my win streak after the first few rows. I may not have found the Wordle answer in record time, but I definitely had fun prising this word out of the haze of letters.

Zenless Zone Zero’s producer has spent an ungodly amount of time playing Street Fighter 6, which makes the whisperings of a collaboration even more understandable-
Taking a peek at screenshots of New Eridu—Zenless Zone Zero’s main hub—I couldn’t help but get some mild Street Fighter 6 Metro City vibes. Turns out they aren’t totally misplaced, as producer Zhenyu Li is a huge fan of the fighting game and has put a lotta hours into playing it. Considering the two games seem set to collaborate with each other, it makes even more sense that Street Fighter 6 has served as an inspiration for Li during Zenless Zone Zero’s development.
I was able to chat with Li during a roundtable interview recently, where he shared some insight into how Street Fighter’s combat helped shape miHoYo’s upcoming action RPG. Speaking through a translator, Li called himself a “loyal player” of Street Fighter 6, admitting he’d racked up thousands of hours acros…
